When measuring, take the waist where the kilt will sit, around the belly button, and the length from there to the middle of the knee. If the event is a few months away, order early and allow a little room for growth.

How do I measure a child for a kilt?
Measure the waist around the belly button, then the length from that point to the middle of the knee. Measure over a thin top rather than outdoor clothes.
Can my child's kilt match the adults' tartan?
Yes. Choose the same tartan when ordering and the kilts will be made in the same colours.
Should I allow room for growth?
The straps and buckles allow a little adjustment. If the event is some months away, add a little to the waist measurement to allow for growth.
How far in advance should I order?
